Hello. My name is Artie and I’m an Artvark. I’m one of a kind as I’m the only turquoise coloured Artvark in the world. I have a big long snout, which is not only great for scoffing pitta bread and strawberry yoghurt (my favourite mid-afternoon snack) but also for creating fantastic pieces of art using paints, sticky stuff, feathers, glitter and much much more.

It's great fun creating messy masterpieces with my fellow Artvarks and at the Little Artvark classes, I can do this without Mummy and Daddy worrying about all that mess getting over their bits and bobs at home.

My favourite colour is orange but I like to experiment with different colours too did you know that mixing the colour blue with the colour yellow gives you green? How exciting it was to make that discovery! I look forward to Little Artvark classes every week, wondering what new textures I’ll get to explore, whether we’ll use chalk or crayon or paint, maybe we’ll even get to use the lovely shiny paper than crinkles when you touch it.  There’s so much to see and learn and I’ve always got my very own imaginative creation at the end of every class.

Hopefully I’ll see you soon at a Little Artvark class until then, don’t get messy without me!
