Children each get their own Little Artvark apron and kit and undertake art and craft activities using a whole host of goodies including paint, glitter, sticky feathers, gum paper, crepe paper, fabric, crayons, and shiny paper. The classes provide opportunity for parents to give lots of praise and encouragement to their child and help them get creative – and parents have fun too! Little Artvarks Classes help develop dexterity, hand/eye co-ordination and skill in utilising utensils such as paint brushes, sponges, and craft accessories as well as supporting the development of other important life skills such as sharing with others, social interaction with others, tidying up after activities and safe usage of equipment and materials. Classes also aid the development of self confidence skills through the ability to complete a task and receive praise and encouragement from others along the way.
 
Each 1 hour class consists of an art or craft activity session based on the theme of the week.  Just some of the weekly themes include; Under the Sea, Jungle Mayhem, Fairy Princesses and Wizards, Animal Safari, Teddy Bears Picnic, Space Travel, Pirate Adventure, Alphabet Zoo. All activities are conducted with appropriate music in the background, in order to stimulate creativity!

 
Babies and children get to take their finished artwork home with them after each class and we're sure Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and family friends will also love receiving a Little Artvarks creation!
